Brian
What up? My name is Brian and I am from Tennessee. Anyways, here is my testimony.
I was "saved" when I was 9 years old on April 9, 1995. At that time, getting saved seemed to be "the thing to do" so I did it. A few years later my church went to a Christian sports camp called Crosspoint. At the beginning the preacher told us to pray that God would give us a gift before the week was over. So I did that and at the end I got truly saved.
I went about my life and I was, I guess you could say, on and off for God. I would wear the Christian t-shirts and stuff but I cussed. That doesn't seem like much but it isn't being a good witness. This was in the 5th and 6th grade. When I got to the 7th and 8th grade I was on fire for God but I did let a few cuss words slip here and there.Anyway, things were going okay except for a little bit of getting made fun of (no I'm not a dork or anything like that). In 9th grade, which is now, things started getting worse and stuff was going on at home and I was really stressed out as it was. One day I had a really bad day and people were getting to me that day. The being made fun of didn't bother me at first but it started getting old and it started getting to me. With everything going on at home and stuff at school I just wanted to die and be with God. I was kinda thinking about suicide (not about doing it but about how people would feel if someone killed themself because of them).
Then, one of my friends and I witnessed to two of my friends and they became saved and their attitude really got me on fire for God again, so I just put everything in God's hands. I don't have to care about what other people say because I know God loves me and I have friends that love me. That's all.
This might not have been the best testimony but I just felt the need to put my testimony up because I really want to reach the world with God. Much Christian Love. Keep witnessing. L8a.
