A Child's Suggestion

A family was seated at the dinner table--the husband, wife, the 7-year-old daughter Jenny, and the 4-year-old son Jeremy.

During dinner, the parents had noticed how well the kids were getting along--none of the usual bickering, picking at each other, etc.

As they were just about finished eating, the son suddenly said, "I love Jenny! When I grow up, I'm gonna marry her!"

The father's head started spinning! He thought, "Oh no, how am I gonna explain this to a 4-year-old?"

Just then, Jenny, with all the childlike simplicity that only a 7-year-old possesses, saved the day by saying, "Oh no, we couldn't do that, Jeremy! Cause then our kids would only have one set of grandparents!"
