Would it be okay to get in touch with my deceased family members?
This is an occult practice and strongly forbidden in the Bible. It is in direct opposition to the Word of God and is satanic. Avoid this practice and people who are involved in this!
You can only hope is that it would be a parlor trick and false. But, just as likely, you would be in direct association with demonic beings masquerading as your loved one. You cannot imagine the types of spiritual doors you can open in your life by being involved in such a practice.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 very clearly
states the Lord's view on this. 'Let
no one be found among you--who
practices divination or sorcery,
interprets omens, engages in
witchcraft, or casts spells, or who
is a medium or spiritist or who
consults the dead. Anyone who does
these things is detestable to the
Lord'
