When will the Russian (Gog-Magog) invasion of Israel take place?
The prophet Ezekiel wrote
that Israel will be burning the
weapons of war for seven-years
indicating that the Gog-Magog war
will take place at least 3.5 years
prior to the beginning of the
Tribulation because the Jews will
not be in Israel halfway through the
Tribulation to burn the weapons of
war as Scripture states (Ezekiel
39:9). They will escape to possibly,
Petra (Jordan) to flee from the
Antichrist
(Matthew 24:15-16; Revelation 12:6,14).
A number of positions have been
taken on the timing of this war, but
if the Jews are not in Israel to
burn the weapons, we must conclude
the timing is most likely prior to
the Tribulation years.
